Goals, Projects and Mission Statement
Linda hopes by educating others about the value of positive reinforcement training, she will help parrot/human relationships. There are more parrots living in homes now than ever before. Unfortunately, many of the people are uneducated and uninformed about how to best meet the needs of their feathered friends.

More and more parrot rescue foundations are being set up because of unwanted parrots. Often time the newness wears off, or undesired behaviors, such as biting and excessive screaming become a problem for the novice owners. Linda's goals are to teach people how to prevent and correct these problem behaviors using, gentle, non-forceful methods, to help stop abuse and neglect, and to continue learning as well as educating. She has seen far too many birds being continuously re-homed and wants to help stop the revolving door syndrome.

Her current projects are supporting and working with bird clubs, and avian rescue organizations. She is arranging field trips and setting up educational classes and training demonstrations as well as an annual educational expo with guest speakers from all over the country.

Her mission statement is this: "Learn what you can and share what you learn!"
